Eligibility Criteria for WAPDA Consultant Jobs 2026
To be considered for this prestigious consultancy role, candidates must meet the following stringent requirements:
Educational Qualifications
- Master’s Degree or 16 Years of Education in Software Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Sciences, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or Telecom Engineering.
- All degrees must be recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC). Foreign degrees require HEC equivalence/verification.
Professional Experience
- Minimum 10 years of experience in a related field, specifically focusing on Safe City projects and IT infrastructure.
- Proven exposure to Policy Formulation, Policy Analysis, and Project Management & Execution using modern technology.
- Direct, hands-on experience with CCTV systems, command & control centers, and integrated IT infrastructure is mandatory.
Mandate and Charter of Duties
The selected Consultant will be responsible for the following technical tasks:
- Providing technical advice and supervision for the High-Level Design (HLD) of IT systems.
- Preparing technical documents, including Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), TORs, and BOQs.
- Ensuring smooth integration, commissioning, and development of different system components.
- Liaising with stakeholders during the equipment deployment and installation phases.
